Quick answer
To get a love message, choose the kind you want (good morning, good night, miss you, just because, encouragement or flirty), add their name or nickname and switch on long-distance mode if you live apart. The tool shows three hand-written messages; tap one to copy it, then paste it into your chat. Shuffle for three more. There are over 70 messages, all written by people, not generated by AI.

How to use the love message generator
Your settings are kept in the page address, so you can bookmark “good night, long distance, with their name” and come back to it every evening.
- Pick a kind of message: good morning, good night, miss you, just because, you've got this or flirty.
- Type their name or nickname. It slots into the messages; leave it blank and the messages read naturally without it.
- Switch on “We are long distance” for messages about time zones, visits and missing each other.
- Tap a message to copy it. Change a word or two so it sounds like you, then send it.
- Press “Shuffle” for three more, or save your favourite as an image.
Messages for every moment
Each kind of message has its own job. Here is when to use each one, with a real example from the tool.

| Kind | Send it when | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Good morning | They are waking up | Morning, love. Drink some water, eat something good and remember you are adored. |
| Good night | The day is ending | Sweet dreams. I hope I turn up in at least one of them. |
| Miss you | You are apart, or just after a goodbye | Everything reminds me of you today. I miss you. |
| Just because | For no reason at all | Random fact: you are wonderful. That is it, that is the message. |
| You've got this | Before an exam, interview or hard day | Deep breath. You are more ready than you feel. |
| Flirty | You want to make them smile | Can't stop smiling and it is entirely your fault. |
Good morning and good night messages for long distance
In a long-distance relationship, good morning and good night messages do a lot of work. They are often the first and last contact of the day, and when you live in different time zones, one of you may be sending “good night” while the other is having breakfast.
Long-distance mode shows messages written for that, such as “Sending this so it is waiting for you when you wake up” and “Your night is my afternoon, but I am sending you a good-night hug anyway”. Use the time zone overlap calculator to see when their morning starts, and our guide to daily rituals for long-distance couples for more ways to share a day from afar.
- Schedule it in your head, not your phone: a message sent as they wake up feels more personal.
- Vary the format. Read a message out as a voice note now and then.
- Answer theirs before you send yours, so it feels like a conversation, not a routine.
How to make a message sound like you
A copied message is a starting point, not the finish line. The best texts include one detail only you would know. “Good morning, Sam, I hope today is as kind to you as you are to me” becomes much better with “…and good luck with the presentation, you have practised it a hundred times”.
Add an inside joke, a nickname or a reference to something from yesterday. Swap formal words for the ones you actually use. If a message is a little too sweet for your style, cut it in half. A short message that sounds like you beats a long one that does not.
Add a detail
Mention something happening in their day: a meeting, a match, a dentist appointment.
Add a memory
“This made me think of that night in the rain” turns any message into your message.
Add a plan
End with something to look forward to: “Call tonight?” or “Twelve days to go.”
When a text is not enough
Some feelings need more than a line. For an anniversary, an apology or a big moment, write a full letter with the love letter generator. For a gift they can hold, make a set of love coupons. And if words are not your thing at all, the love language quiz may show that your partner values other kinds of care just as much.

Q & A
Frequently asked questions
What is a sweet good morning message for her?
Something warm and specific, such as “Good morning! I hope today is as kind to you as you are to me”, plus one detail about her day. Choose Good morning in the tool for more.
What should I text my long-distance boyfriend at night?
Try a good-night message that bridges the distance, like “One more sleep closer to seeing you. Sweet dreams.” Switch on long-distance mode for messages written for couples apart.
Are these messages written by AI?
No. Every message was written by the Lovelle team. The tool picks and personalises them; it does not generate new text.
Can I add my partner's name?
Yes. Type a name or nickname and it appears in the messages. Leave it empty and the messages still read naturally.
How many love messages are there?
Over 70, across six kinds of message, with long-distance versions of each.
Is the love message generator free?
Yes. It is free, with no sign-up. Tap a message to copy it, or save it as an image.
Does Lovelle save what I type?
No. The tool runs in your browser and nothing you type is sent to or stored on Lovelle's servers. When you share, your choices travel inside the link after the # sign, which browsers do not send to websites. That part is not encrypted, so anyone with the link can read it. Share it only with the person it is meant for.
